Sustainable Boardshort – Upcycled & Recycled PET Bottles

This boardshort is made using an upcycling process that transforms waste into something useful. The yarn is crafted from 100% internationally certified recycled PET bottles, resulting in a soft-touch fabric with a classic fit.

For every meter of fabric, 3 PET bottles are recycled. The result is odor-resistant, quick-drying, and 3x more stretch than standard fabrics.

Washing Instructions:

• Hand wash recommended
• Do not tumble dry or use hot water
• Use cold water and mild soap
• Do not bleach or wring
• Do not iron directly over the print
• Dry preferably in the shade

Each product comes with a mini bag made from recycled ghost fishing nets, developed in partnership with the Marulho Project. This initiative collects discarded fishing nets from the ocean—helping to protect marine life—and transforms them into new products, generating income for local workers in Ilha Grande, Rio de Janeiro.
